Scott & Janyne McConnaughey

 

Scott and Janyne have been married 40 years (2019) and have lived in California, Missouri, and Colorado. During those years, creative living has always been a 'go to.' They have shared houses with parents and children, lived on a college campus, lived in-residence when Scott managed a residential hotel, and ultimately cared for Janyne's father in a very large home with four generations--from 3 to 96. In the fall of 2015, after Janyne retired after 40 years in education, they decided to buy a 5th wheel and live as full-time residents in an RV Park. When Scott's job ended unexpectedly in the spring of 2017, they both became 'camp workers' at the park and Scott eventually became General Manager. Eventually they moved to live near their children and grandchildren in the Seattle area, but for three years, this was their story. ​It is a snapshot.
